Hassle free. I have an 04 Subaru STi and I was in and in less than 15 minutes! Since I have AWD, I don't have to go on the rollers... Going here I didnt have to deal with angry F my job asian mechanics at gas stations compared to other local smog stations. Don't forget the check-in deal! It's $39 + $8 dollar smog cert. Late post back in 09/2013 Will definitely take my other cars here...

I have never had to have a smog check done on any of the vehicles I have owned over the past 14 years. Never having gone to a test center before, I am very happy there is a place like The Smog Man Test Only. I was in and out in about 15 minutes; no wait, seriously. The facility is very clean and the guy helping me out was friendly, to the point, no fluff and polite; this is something I really appreciate. They offer a 20% discount coupon on their website, so make sure you check that out also.

Hate to do this but I'm over it. Back when I did my first review it was in another location and a different guy doing the testing. Since being at their new shop I have been there maybe 6 times.. and all but one of those they were closed because of some reason or another. Out of gas, machine broken. This was on Saturdays.. I just think there are days they don't want to work and just put up a sign.. Machine broke.. I mean if it was my biz I'd be sure that was working all the time. So don't count on them being open on Saturday and not at all on Sunday. It became a joke, I'd leave the house to go get it smoged and be back in 5 min.. "closed again". Week after week after week.. Had to go to another station in the end. If you have a stock car and they are open then the rest is a breeze but have a modification or try to go on a Saturday you might want to call and check that day to make sure they are open and they can help you. Like everyone says, in and out in about 15 depending on wait. The guy knows what he's doing and he does it with surgeon like precision. As painless as it can be.
