If you are a female, you should definitely come here for your smog check- InStyle Magazine, Saveur, etc. in the waiting room. I was in the midst of a good article when Philip told me the check was done. I was willing to have him run it again so I could finish reading! It was like 10 minutes, max. Never have owned a car, so this is all new to me. Not sure what others charge or how comfortable other places are, but I will not try anywhere else. Make sure to use the coupon!

I never knew getting a smog check would be so painless. I literally got there, popped in some quarters for a cherry coke, flipped through a few pages of the most recent Bon Appetite magazine and I was done! I was there less than 15 minutes! This place is pricier than most, but tbh you're paying for quality. This is not some dinky gas station that does smog and car washes. Shop is clean, staff is professional, service is good. Make sure you mention yelp for your discount!

Great service, I drove up, he came out to meet me and we filled out some paperwork and then he started the test. I was in and out of there within 10 minutes. I mentioned I had found him on Yelp and he gave me the $20 off coupon without the paper version. And the Chevelle is sweet.

Had to smog an old car late last year. Came in on a weekday morning. No wait and the job was completed within 10 minutes. They perform a complete inspection and even verified the timing. The price, while not the cheapest, was very reasonable. Make sure you get the coupon.

Quicker than a quickie!!! Less than 5 minutes, I was out of there. Get $20 coupon from website. Otherwise, you pay $78. Philip even told me an air hose under the hood needed to be fixed to make my car more fuel efficient. Great service. Highly recommended!

I went to the San Jose location today for my smog check. There were 2 cars in front of me, and I still got out there within 30 min from beginning to finish. The Tech was very fast and polite. He also gave me some suggestion on how I can lower my NOs # as it was very close to the max of allowable range. In my 20 years of driving and owing cars, this was probably the easiest and the fastest smog check I have ever gotten. I will only go to this place for smog check in the future with my 4 cars.

To give credit and thanks where it's due, the Smog man (Philip) inspired me to Yelp!! Seriously, I'd only been reading reviews up until my visit here. I had doubts about not passing a smog check at a nearby Gold Shield Station earlier on knowing that I had kept up with routine car maintenance, and I am SO HAPPY I came here for a second opinion! I was upfront about what happened and Philip was just awesome about it. My car passed all stages of the smog test without a hitch and without unnecessary repairs, as the first shop suggested. Smog Man said to me that cars have quirks just like people, and his knowledge about mine made the difference! I left with insight in to my car and the personality of its engine which I'm glad to know about. Philip knows his stuff and is an honest and interesting guy. I enjoyed a few relaxing moments and some good conversation during my visit, which turned out to be a pleasure. I will of course come back and I highly recommend you pay a visit too - for $58 with an online coupon you know a good job is being done by a business, owner and operator that you want to go to and support.

Quick, efficient service at a great price, what more could a girl ask for? To talk a little car shop with him as I loved his Chevelle, of course! The Man(tm) restored it as well as the motorcycle himself! *swoon*
